COURSE : Adult Beginner Cupcakes Class 

This class is suitable for adults and older teens. I’ll teach you to colour the sugarpaste and treat it so it is beautifully soft whilst working with it, but it will hold it’s shape whilst drying. I’ll teach you how to roll the sugarpaste to a suitable thickness, how to use cutters, veiners, embossing mats and moulds, and then you’ll have time to experiment with a range of equipment to produce a set of cupcake toppers. Then I’ll teach you how to pipe buttercream in three different ways, for you to then pipe a dozen cupcakes and add the toppers you have made. You’ll take home a box of 12 beautifully decorated cupcakes to wow your family and friends!

COURSE : Adult  Sugarcraft Modelling Class- Bulldog Cake Topper

In this class you will learn how to manipulate sugarpaste using different techniques.  We’ll discuss how to colour the sugarpaste and how to treat it so it will hold it’s shape as it dries. I’ll show you how to break down the model into shapes, how to join them together and how to form the paste into a bulldog cake topper. You’ll be able to use what you know to make other models again at home.  Please note: these classes take around two hours. This may differ according to the experience and confidence of the participants. Please be prepared for the class to continue passed the two hours if necessary.

COURSE : Children and Adult Halloween Cupcake Class (Children can come alone or with an adult.)

In this class, suitable for children aged 6 to teens, and they will spend around 1 1/2 hours modelling the six toppers following Marie’s step by step instructions and then will pipe buttercream on top of six delicious pre-baked vanilla cupcakes before decorating them with the amazing halloween toppers they have made! Then we’ll have time to squeeze in a quick drink and snack before going home to wow friends and family with their creations. This class is all about fun, friends and finding they can make fabulous creations from fondant (and then eating them!). Children can bring an adult with them to join in the fun, or they can come independently. All children and adults participating require a place to be booked. Marie is DBS checked and an experienced Primary Teacher.

COURSE : Children and Adult Halloween Cookie Class (Children can come alone or with an adult.)

This class is suitable for children aged 6 to teens. We’ll start by practising how to pipe royal icing so we can get a feel for how to control the icing. Following Marie’s step by step instructions we’ll decorate a set of pre-baked vanilla cookies. Then we’ll have time to squeeze in a quick drink and snack before going home to wow friends and family with their creations. This class is all about fun, friends and finding they can decorate fabulous cookies (and then eating them!). Children can bring an adult with them to join in the fun, or they can come independently. All children and adults participating require a place to be booked. Marie is DBS checked and an experienced Primary Teacher.

COURSE : Adult Royal Iced Cookies

In this class, I’ll share a cookie and royal icing recipe with you so you can recreate cookies at home. I’ll teach you about thickness of icing, how to colour it, and the order in which to ice. We’ll practise to begin with so you can learn how to handle the piping bags before starting on the cookies. Then following Marie’s step by step instructions, we’ll decorate a set of cookies together for you to take home and show off to family and friends.
