This class will take place on Wednesday 13th March 2024 at 7-9pm at The Croft, 28 The Village, Church Road, Flixton, Manchester, M41 6HS (The black and white building next to The Church Inn on Church Road).
In this class, you will learn various tips and tricks to be able to create beautiful cupcakes again at home. I’ll teach you how to colour sugarpaste, how to treat it so it holds it’s shape for your toppers, and how to use a variety of cutters, plunger cutters, moulds and veiners. You’ll learn how to pipe buttercream in three different ways, and will end the class decorating your own set of 12 freshly baked vanilla cupcakes. I’ll share a vanilla cupcake and buttercream recipe and give you my tips for producing beautifully smooth buttercream for piping.
The classes usually take the two hours but may run slightly longer depending on the experience and confidence of the attendees. You are welcome to bring a note book and pen if you wish, but everything is provided for you for the class including all the materials and equipment you need, a box to take it home, an apron to wear and refreshments, including something yummy baked by Marie!
The venue is The Croft, a black and white building next to The Church Inn on Church Road in Flixton, Manchester. Please have a look at the picture of the building in the photos attached to this course. The building has two brown doors at the front of the building, you need the door on the right hand side.
