This class will take place on Saturday 11th May 10am – 12.30pm at The Croft, 28 The Village, Church Road, Flixton, Manchester, M41 6HS (The black and white building next to The Church Inn on Church Road).
In this class you’ll learn how to colour buttercream using gel food colours. We’ll talk about different colour combinations that can work together. You’ll be shown how to use several piping nozzles in various ways to create different effects. You’ll then have time to practise the techniques and choose your favourite ones to decorate a freshly baked vanilla cake. I’ll share my secrets to producing beautifully smooth pipeable buttercream as well as my recipe and method for producing cakes at home. This class is packed with tips and tricks for you to take away and recreate both cakes and cupcakes using these piping techniques again and again.
You are welcome to bring a note book and pen if you wish, but everything is provided for you for the class including all the materials and equipment you need, a box to take it home, an apron to wear and refreshments, including something yummy baked by Marie!
The venue is The Croft, a black and white building next to The Church Inn on Church Road in Flixton, Manchester. Please have a look at the picture of the building in the photos attached to this course. The building has two brown doors at the front of the building, you need the door on the right hand side.
