** Unfortunately I’ve heard from my venue and they are not accepting bookings until after Christmas. If things change I’ll update the website as soon as I can, but for now, no face to face classes will take place until January at least. **
*I’m adding more classes and information when I can. In the meantime please feel free to email Marie on [email protected] for more information about any classes you might be interested in attending.
*If you are looking for a gift, we can issue gift vouchers for part or full payment against any of our classes.
Children’s Cupcake Decorating Parties
I run the parties at the venue I hold my classes at which is The Croft, 28 The Village on Church Road in Flixton (near St Michael’s church). They essentially run like a class. I don’t provide any party food, but do provide everything else for the party- cupcakes, buttercream, sugarpaste to make the toppers, aprons, all the equipment needed.
There are a couple of options. You can hire the larger room in The Croft for £20. We have it for the class for 2 hours, I’ll be there before and after to set up and tidy away. The class runs for 2 hours, if the children make six toppers and decorate the six cakes with piped buttercream and the toppers they make. There is usually time at the end for a quick drink and snack if you like.
If you want to hire The Croft for longer, say for party food too, it’s available to hire for £45. For that, you hire it for most of the afternoon/morning as long as it is available, and you get the run of the whole place. It has a kitchen for food prep/drinks and a smaller front room where you could set up the food while the children are working.
The cost of the class is £18 per head. I can comfortably teach 12 children in there. It can be useful sometimes, depending on the confidence of the children to have a couple of adults in there too, but it’s not entirely necessary. It can’t work with lots of adults in the room though, the children find it difficult to stay on task with the noise and distractions.
Here are a few pictures of things we’ve made in the past. You can choose one of those, or choose your own theme, but I can’t do anything with copyright attached I’m afraid.
